Call Queueing
If you are busy on the phone, callers will not receive the engaged tone, they will be queued until you have finished and then their call is put through to you. Missed Call Notifications by
SMS Text and Email
If you fail to answer a call then the system can send you the missed call number by text or email so you can return the call - never miss a call.
Voicemail to Email
Out of hours or if you can't answer the phone in the required time then calls can be routed to voicemail, any messages left are instantly emailed to you as an audio file for you to listen to through your computer speakers. You can also access your voicemail's by calling into the system (handy if you are away from your email) - if a caller chooses to not leave a message then their telephone number is sent to you as above.
IVR Options - Directions, Opening Times, etc
An option, not compulsory, but included in the basic cost of SalonConnect is your choice of IVR options which callers can select from using there telephone keypad - for example - "welcome to.........to make a booking please press 1, for directions to the salon please press 2, for our opening times please press 3, or for general enquiries please hold...." - option 1 would route callers through to the Salon, whereas callers choosing options 2 or 3 would listen to pre-recorded information providing them with the relevant information.
Emergency and Disaster Recovery
SalonConnect does not involve any installation and is fully hosted so if you move premises or suffer some form of 'disaster' (fire, flood, Swine Flu, breakdown, etc) and can not man your premises, then the whole system and your calls can be instantly re-routed to another destination or even mobile....your are in complete control or your inbound telecoms.
